UX/UI Designer Web

Overview: As a UX/UI Designer specializing in web design, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for our company’s website and web-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to understand user needs, define design requirements, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance usability and drive engagement.

Responsibilities:

1. User Research: Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences. Use insights gathered to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience.
2. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts. Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing to refine user interactions and functionality.
3. UI Design: Develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web applications and websites. Design interface elements, including navigation menus, buttons, forms, and interactive components, that align with brand guidelines and enhance usability.
4. Responsive Design: Ensure designs are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes. Collaborate with developers to implement responsive design principles and ensure consistent user experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
5. Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and gather feedback from users. Analyze test results and make recommendations for improvements to enhance usability and user satisfaction.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to define project requirements, establish design goals, and ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs.
7. Iterative Design: Embrace an iterative design process, incorporating user feedback and data-driven insights to continually improve and evolve designs. Work closely with developers to implement design changes and ensure fidelity to design specifications.
8. Documentation: Create design documentation, including design specifications, style guides, and pattern libraries, to facilitate collaboration and ensure consistency in design implementation.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Master’s degree or certification in UX/UI design is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on web design. Proven track record of designing user-centric web experiences and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing web design projects, including wireframes, prototypes, and finished designs. Demonstrated expertise in user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative design solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate design decisions, present ideas, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs that meet usability and accessibility standards.
