ABOUT THE WORK
You are an experienced user experience (UX) strategist / designer, hired to build the strategy and design approach for cutting edge web experiences. You will work closely with Kanopi development teams to design / create beautiful front-end experiences and tackle complex problems in a fun, team-oriented environment.
As a UX Strategist / Designer, your day may include:
Lead clients and participate in UX breakout sessions
Present the deliverables in a clear and articulated manner.
Creation of polished project artifacts such as people, user flows, customer journey maps, competitor reviews, AI, sitemaps, wireframes, moodboards, pattern libraries, design mockups, prototypes, etc.
Implement usability testing for user-centric and data-driven design work
Consulting on all aspects of the software development life cycle to ensure the execution of the client’s vision and UX / design
Contribute to all UI / UX decisions
Aid in the overall process of making Kanopi awesome by building repeatable patterns for success and happiness.
ABOUT COMPENSATION & amp; JOB REQUIREMENTS
This position is full time. Salary and compensation correspond to experience. It is not to worry. The salary is competitive and what you would expect for this position. This is a 100% remote role, but you must live and be able to work in North America.

Requirements
Must have proven experience in website design
Must have agency experience
Must have experience working remotely or with a distributed project team
Implement a mobile device design methodology first
Demonstrates professionalism and responds to customer needs.
Respond quickly and remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment
Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-time zone environment
Has proven intelligence and initiative
Uses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Take the initiative to learn and adapt to new applications and frameworks
You are committed to delivering high-quality work with time and budget in mind.
Anticipate customer needs and potential problems
Create layered design mockups for responsive theme implementation
Uses excellent verbal and written communication skills
BS or MS in related specialties for UX and / or Visual Design, or equivalent work experience
More than 4 years working with website UX and / or visual design
Passion for the web and open source development
