(Senior) Network Engineer Full Time
We are looking for a proactive and brilliant network engineer to join our cloud engineering team. This feature is completely remote and open to anyone who wants to work during Pacific Time business hours.
You’ll:
Be part of a dynamic and motivated team of infrastructure engineers, who design and manage the operation, performance and availability of our internal systems and customer networks.
Design, plan and implement networking infrastructure for new clients
Strive to automate the management of our networks
Monitor, manage and support (Tier 2 and 3) complex network infrastructures globally, including vendor escalation
Proactively seek opportunities to improve current monitoring and achieve the zero support goal
Requirements
You must:
Knowledge of cloud networks (AWS and Azure)
Fortinet experience; Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper and Meraki are a benefit
Network infrastructure design experience
WAN, LAN, WLAN, IPSec experience
Experience in monitoring tools and systems (syslog, SNMP / MIBs, Netflow / jFlow / sFlow)
Knowledge of UTM firewall settings
Understanding OSI layers
Writing Skills – Predominantly Ansible
More than 5 years of experience in network engineering
Good have:
Experience working in a network operations center (NOC) and supporting the production of a wide area network
Desire to learn or suggest ideas for improvements using future / next generation technology
Work with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket)
Certifications like CCNP, Fortinet NSE or better
Soft skills and work pattern:
Good communicator, team player attitude, self-reliant with growth mindset
Adaptable and flexible with good interpersonal skills.

Flexibility in working hours and / or being part of a duty rotation (in case of P1 incidents)
