The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Customer Success Manager who will oversee a portfolio of assigned clients and interact with cross-functional internal teams to constantly manage and improve the customer experience.
The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service and has a natural desire to provide prompt, friendly, helpful, and professional support. You need a high level of organization and prioritization skills to be successful. A strong technical background is preferred (you don’t need to know how to read or write code), but you understand basic technical terminology and can have a comfortable conversation with a SaaS company about what they do and their business goals.
This is a long-term remote position. Preference will be given to candidates who can work within the Western European or North American time zones. A reliable internet connection is required. We offer a base payment + commission. Day-to-day responsibilities
Manage the overall customer experience for your client portfolio
Have in-depth and practical knowledge of the product and take product tours.
Serve as the primary end-to-end point of contact for all other client account matters, including making onboarding calls and maintaining regular communication by phone and email, answering all customer questions / concerns clients, problem solving and negotiation strategy, when necessary
Review campaign performance, strategize with the internal team on potential areas for improvement and present it to the client clearly and convincingly.
Follow existing processes and identify areas for improvement
Serve as a liaison with the technical and campaign team through CRM and keep clear and complete account notes
Drive retention and growth among existing customers using proven strategies, while contributing new ideas.
Impeccable English (written and verbal)
Previous experience in customer success, recruiting, or account management, preferably in SaaS, computer software, Internet, or startup environment.
Previous experience working with small and medium-sized companies.
Decent technical and business insight – You are comfortable talking to a SaaS company about your business
LinkedIn experience: Beyond having a profile, you know how LinkedIn works and can provide an overview of all the features.
Experience in delivering customer-centric solutions to customer needs and managing expectations, escalations, and issues.
Strong organizational skills – You are process oriented and like to create your own systems to stay organized so nothing slips through the cracks
Strong Communication Skills: You are a great listener, a good negotiator, and have strong presentation skills.
Great attention to detail – nothing escapes you. You can see the big picture and the small details at the same time.
Previous remote experience: o the ability to work independently and successfully bond with a distributed team
