We are looking for a B2B Event and Media Sponsorship Sales Executive to join our team. It would be suitable for someone with experience in B2B events / conferences or media sales.
Soko Media is the leading B2B media company for the applications industry. Our App Promotion Summit conference series hosts agenda-setting events in London, Berlin, New York, and online, and our new Social Video Strategies event covers the exciting new area of TikTok Marketing. Business of Apps is our news and information brand for people who create, market and monetize applications, reaching a global audience of more than 500,000 applications industry professionals per month.
We need help selling sponsorship packages to application development companies, application marketing agencies, application analytics platforms, and mobile advertising companies looking to reach professionals in the application industry. We get hundreds of inbound leads a month and it’s getting hard to keep up. We are looking for someone looking to work in a high performance remote work environment with friendly teammates.

You will carry out the following activities:
Respond to incoming inquiries / leads via the site
Set up and make Skype calls with prospects
Understand customer needs and develop appropriate marketing packages.
Outbound email prospecting to generate new leads in specific categories
Boost business from existing account base
Onboard new clients and help make your campaigns a success
We are looking for someone with the following profile:
Previous sales / business development experience, ideally in a B2B media or event sponsorship environment
Able to establish a good Skype / phone relationship with clients
Experience of working with a CRM
Able to deal with international clients
Digital Expert: able to work or learn to use a variety of applications, eg. Eg Trello, ActiveCampaign, Pipedrive
Able to research and understand the market positioning of clients and clients and their needs.
Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
Interest in apps, social media, influencer marketing, digital media
Collaborative and friendly personality
Hungry to learn and develop their skills
Based on UK / Europe time zone
5 weeks vacation per year
Travel to USA, Berlin, London for our in-person events (when possible again)
